(Aerobic Protein Stabilizing System) The APS System is diverse and will solve problems in waste management dealing with fish scraps including offal, blood, cartilage and skin, animal wastes (such as pig manures), sludge solids from municipal and industrial waste water treatment facilities that have an accumulation of sludge (free of heavy metals), food processing facilities that have a problem meeting government disposal requirements, and converting these wastes, to a usable and saleable product as fertilizer or animal feed additive. The APS process is a unique system using recently developed Biotechnology to biologically convert waste material into a liquid nutrient. The resulting liquid may be formulated with other nutrients to form a balanced liquid fertilizer or re-constituted by drying. The APS Process The APS process utilizes enzymes and other biochemical, physical and thermodynamic fundamental principals to convert waste (which may contain bones) into a liquid for utilization in a liquid fertilizer concentrate or feed protein hydrolyzate concentrate. Heat is generated by the naturally occurring thermophylic bacteria to raise the temperature beyond pasteurization temperatures, therefore, all disease producing organisms are destroyed. Because of the heat generation, the process is economical as most of the heat required is provided through the biochemical activity in the reactors. Finally, the hydrolyzate is pasteurized to provide a completely stable end product. The protein concentrate from this process is used as the protein source for the liquid organic fertilizer. These products have a number of unique features in addition to the excellent plant food nutrient value. Enzymes, vitamins, lipoproteins, free amino acids, free fatty acids and minerals provide outstanding essentials for nutrient deficient or depleted soil. Farmers and ranchers using these products are obtaining responses far beyond the fertilizer value expected and are reporting reduction or elimination of most pests from both insect and animal origin. We can provide the specifications of equipment needed to build the production facility; we can provide the proprietary information and products that are needed to successfully operate the production facility; and we can provide the technological backup that will be needed on an ongoing basis. The production plant should be located close to the source of raw materials for cost effectiveness.
