 Description:
It is a blend of eight (8) different ceramic compounds that combine and work together to form a heat block against extreme heat migration. SP2001F resembles a thick, dark gray paint that can be applied by using various methods. It is best applied by an airless sprayer with carbon steel tips (size 0.065) and a machine pumping at 3 gal/minute with a minimum of 3000 psi (8-20 horse motor).. Brushing is possible but will require multiple coats to achieve required mils.
 USES:
This coating is designed to stay intact with constant adhesion with direct or indirect fire above 4000 0F. It is also designed to be applied on a cool, clean, dry surface. It's intumescent material swells, expands to face the flame and will prevent the surface of the coating from burning even at temperatures of 2500 OC (4500 OF).
