AQUA-POX (NS)

Description:
Made in a Non-Skid (NS) water-reducible formula using ceramics for a long wearing surface which is two part-component, amine-cured, epoxy coating which will demonstrate the physical properties of solvent-borne epoxies, but in a water reducible formula. The formula holds a unique ceramic particle that gives the surface a slip resistance even when inclined and wet. Dust and residual formulation is a problem with unprotected concrete and cement toppings. Aqua-Pox (NS) was developed as a solution to this problem. Special Interest: outstanding toughness; water borne epoxy; excellent flexibility; Outstanding water-and chemical-resistance to acids, solvents, oils, and gasoline; Superior combination of Impact, abrasion and scuff resistance; and can be tinted to any custom, color.

Uses
This product was developed primarily as a coating for application on clean concrete surfaces. For maximum adhesion, always etch concrete with a 25% solution (in water) of muriatic acid, and allow to stand for 15 minutes. Then flush thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry completely before coating. Aqua-Pox (NS) may be applied to damp concrete surfaces without fear of delaminating and adhesion loss.

AQUA-POX (NS) produces a surface coating/flim that will exhibit outstanding water and chemical - resistance., excellent resistance to acids, solvents, oils, and gasoline, and a superior combination of impact -, abrasion-, and scuff-resistance. Should be considered for all concrete walls and surfaces where solvent odors (VOC) and flammability are not accepted. There will be a dramatic reduction of all maintenance costs on concrete where AQUA-POX is properly applied.
